The Brew Creek Centre

We call our place a “forest sanctuary” for a reason. First, there’s the quiet, punctuated by chirping birds, the flowing creek and the occasional train whistle. Then there’s our gardens, sweet and abundant: bright splashes of purple petunias, yellow Blackeyed Susans, fragrant white lilies. Here you don’t take the elevator; you walk between buildings on flower-fringed boardwalks or gravel paths through the cedars and past a burbling creek. Or take a stroll on the contemplative walk. Our venue is natural and peaceful, and our gathering spaces? Some graceful, some eccentric with old souls—all one of a kind.

The Gathering at Brew Creek

With a Zen-meets-Frank Lloyd Wright vibe, this is one of our two crown jewels—an exquisite, cathedral-like space. Designed for deep-thinking sessions and intimate, sacred ceremonies, The Gathering at Brew Creek commands reverence with its vaulted post-and-beam ceiling, hushed acoustics and forest backdrop melding the inside and outside worlds. Flooded with natural light, it overlooks a moss and fern garden. It’s constructed using the greenest standards, including high-efficiency heating and state-of-the-art insulated windows.

The Halcyon

Our other jewel is the sophisticated and airy The Halcyon, a space for celebration and revelry. All white walls, light woods, stone and sweeping windows, it feels modern and West Coast. Accents like wood-block cubes milled onsite, garden-inspired artwork and blonde leather armchairs set the tone. The high-ceiling, open-beam great room opens onto a large pond-side balcony, flanked with fragrant rose-lined terraces.

Meditation Hut

The meditative experience begins as you meander over a zigzag wooden bridge crossing the creek—intentionally designed to slow your pace—and up a staircase of rough boulders to our Japanese-inspired refuge. This is a beautifully designed, naturally-lit space tucked away in the trees, created to evoke harmony, introspection and inner calm. You feel it in the intentional design and symbolic details: From the cedar and Old World joinery to the wrap-around windows, central circular focal point and even fence lattice, randomly spaced and clustered in groupings of the mystical number three.

Main Lodge:
Tent Reception Area

Next to the creek and our secluded chef’s garden and sitting prow, this is a versatile garden party style tented space. It’s adjacent to the dining area and feels open, festive and connected to the outdoors. We can make it open-air or enclosed, depending the season. Open mid-May to mid-October.

For: Celebration dinner, reception, hospitality suite

Main Lodge:
Dining Area

Set in our rustic-chic main lodge, this open-concept hall is cozy in winter, thanks to the crackling river-rock fireplace, and cool in summer, connected to our blooming gardens on both sides. The space is all naturally finished fir, slate and rock, accented with hanging pillar lights, wood beams and lantern wall sconces. We can adjust or dim the lights to match the mood for any occasion.

Our Gardens
& Grounds

We take great pride in our delightful gardens and grounds, all 20 acres of which is yours to explore and enjoy. Couples can say their vows in a grove of trees, under a cedar-draped arbor or on the lawn surrounded by blooming flowers. Or, the bride can descend tiered terraces through family and friends or process with peekaboo views through the trees crossing the bridge to a stone wall surrounded by lush gardens and the expectant groom. The possibilities are yours to imagine.
